    Description

I AM Rainbow mini, a sweatshirt where the only limit is your imagination. Choose from 50 variations with pockets and 20 versions without.

I can be created in two different lengths: classic or above the knee; I have three pockets to choose from: kangaroo, welt or in-seam. Make me with or without a zip. At the neckline, choose either a classic or overlapping hood or neckband, or a ribbed collar. I can be finished with or without ribbing. All seam allowances are included in the pattern.

I AM Patterns are designed to be traced off. The different pieces overlap with each other so you will need to trace the pattern on paper. This means that you will be able to make multiple sizes of the garment and adjust the pattern as you trace it if necessary. For this you could use tracing paper, baking parchment, thin wrapping paper; or we can supply you with some spot and cross pattern paper.

    Suggested Fabric:

Garment: jersey for sweatshirt, interlock knit, neoprene, French terry…

Ribbing: ribbing by the meter or the same fabric used for the garment (this pattern is not designed for using pre-cut ribbing bands). The ribbed collar can only be sewn in ribbing.

    Fabric Requirements:

    Versions

This pattern gives you the possibility of making 50 different versions (and 20 more versions without pockets). The different features of this garment are:

2 styles: zipped hoodie or pullover sweatshirt

2 cuff and bottom finishes: with ribbing or hemmed

    2 lengths: classic and above-knee

3 types of pockets: kangaroo, welt or inseam

4 neckline finishes: classic hood, overlapping hood, neckband and ribbed collar

You can then choose the sweatshirt you want to make by combining the different features together.

The size ranges from 3 to 14 years old.
