It is exactly the same as it was all those years ago but now comes beautifully presented in a matching tote bag making it a marvellous gift. This tried and tested games tablecloth is still a sure winner with the family even now, over 40 years since it's first release!
Games Tablecloth - Style 324
This is the wording from the very first sighting of it in the Winter 1978/79 catalogue:
Our unique games tablecloth has been carefully designed to include games for every member of the family. It need never be put away as it is an excellent and very decorative tablecloth printed on cotton coated with clear glossy PVC. Ideal for the kitchen or the nursery table as it only needs a wipe clean.
The games include new designs of old favourites like Snakes and Ladders, Tiddley Winks, Ludo, Draughts/Chess, Backgammon and our own Race game right around the edge. You play this by choosing to be an animal, walker, car or ship and "racing" around the track using a dice and following the instructions on the squares you land on.
Kit Contains:
- 8 colourful card press-outs for the race game,
- a set of tiddley winks and 1 dice, but no chess men or draughts are provided.
- Basic rules are included for all games except chess
Sizing:
The tablecloth measures approx 90cm x 110cm.
We are really proud to say that the games mat is still printed in the UK.
