The Apron dress is a workwear inspired design with straps crossing at back. The skirt is opened with back pleat and closed with buttons. It features large front pockets and button/pleat opening at back.
The dress shown in the images is styled with The Assembly Line Cuff top.
The pattern comes carefully packaged in an envelope together with step-by-step sewing instructions.
Suggested Fabrics:
Mid weight fabrics such as denim, cotton twill, lightweight canvas.
Fabric Requirements:
140-150 cm fabric width
XS 1.5 m / S 1.6 m / M 1.7 m / L 1.8 m / XL 2.2 m / 2XL 2.2 m / 3XL 2.3 m
You will also need:
- Matching thread
- 2 buttons (snap or sew-in)
- 0.5 m interfacing
Ability: Easy / Confident Beginner
Sizing: This is a multi-size pattern that comes in two size ranges. Choose from XS-L or XL-3XL.
Since it is the skirt, rather than the whole dress, that has to fit your body use your waist and seat measurements for sizing.
The large back pleat is slightly adjustable by moving the placement of the buttons, in case you wish to have the waist width a few centimetres narrower or wider.
