Do you fancy making a pair of knickers? We all need them! The Lulu knickers makes for a really fun, quick project. The pattern comes in three different styles to suit most personal preferences - high-waisted retro style, providing full coverage and maximum comfort (and warmth!), a lower-waisted style that sits at hip level and finally a thong. There's something in this pattern for everyone!
This fun and practical pattern is suitable for beginner and experienced makers alike. You will learn techniques for sewing knit / jersey fabrics using a regular sewing machine as well as three different elastic applications.

Suggested Fabrics:
Light to medium weight jersey fabric with at least 20% stretch and good recovery.
Fabric Requirements:
35-55cm (size and style dependent) of at least 110cm wide fabric or use jersey fabric scraps.
You will also need:
2-2.5m of elastic, choose from lingerie/pico edge elastic, folder elastic or regular 5-6mm wide elastic
