Billy is a pair of slim sweatpants with elasticated waist. The pants sit on the hips and have a slightly lowered crotch. The leg is ended with a cuff. The pattern is made for men but works well for women as well.
This pattern is not for beginners as there are no seam allowances included in the pattern. It is a great choice for those with experience in dressmaking, adjusting patterns or pattern cutting. The pattern includes general sewing instructions which are very clear, but there are no illustrations making it unsuitable for beginners, but refreshing for those more experiences. Detailed instructions are available as a download with the code included in the pattern.

A Note about Monsterfabriken Patterns:
Monsterfabriken are essentially pattern makers, whose main focus is the fit. Their aim is to make patterns that are easy to follow and alter. Their sewing patterns are plain but detailed so that you can easily adjust them to your body and your liking. Monsterfabriken patterns do not have seam allowances included. This could seem daunting, but actually it can be really beneficial if you are adjusting patterns or using the pattern pieces as a block.
Mönsterfabriken is not using any traditional sizing system.
The reason for that is that body measurements can vary a lot between different brands. In order to help you find the right size and the fit we designed, we are using primary body measurements.
The size is named after the primary body measurement measured in centimeters. The chest width is used for tops and seat width is used for bottoms. In rare cases the waist width is used. The size you shall use is simply the primary body measurement closest to yours. The other body measurements are secondary and will give you a hint of how the garment will fit you and if you need to make any changes.
In order to choose the right size please take your body measurements and compare it with the size tables below.
Size range 1 and 2 represents two different body types where range 1 is customized for the smaller bodies and range 2 for larger and also curvier bodies. When the body gets larger the proportions are changing. Therefore have we decided to make two separate size ranges with different base sizes and grading in order to get the best fit for as many as possible. For size range 1 and 2 we have a fixed body length of 168 cm and you will have to adjust the length of your garment in order to fit your length.
